03/11/2019 | NWPC Takes Part in the Women's International Forum Embracing the Arctic

On 1-2 March, representatives of NWPC took part in the Women's International Forum Embracing the Arctic, held for the first time in Murmansk under the auspices of the Government of Murmansk region.

The forum, which has the goal of uniting women across a variety of professions and views, was attended by delegates from 23 Russian regions, Norway, Finland and Sweden.

“The event provided an excellent opportunity to meet with women in a range of fields and positions across the region. Events like this make Murmansk region increasingly attractive for new business projects,” said NWPC Deputy CEO Nadezhda Heifetz.

For two days, the NWPC delegation participated in conferences, workshops, business lunches, meetings and master classes focused on the role of women in the development of society and the state. Attendees used the forum as an opportunity for discussion and networking with colleagues from around the region.

Marina Kovtun, Governor of Murmansk region, attended several events during the forum.
