Mine Construction and Operation

    On 24 October, the Architectural and Urban Planning Division of the Municipal Housing and Community Construction Department for Murmansk region granted NWPC a license for construction of the Oleniy Ruchey mine under Article 51 of the Urban Planning Code of the Russian Federation. Capital construction will include the open pit mines, underground mine and the beneficiation plant complex.
    On 27 October, NWPC won a municipal property sales auction. Former kindergarten buildings located in Koashva settlement (Kirovsk municipal area and its associated territory) will be renovated to house the mine management office and socially important facilities.

    Work began at the Oleniy Ruchey mine construction site. The contractor, Severtransstroy (Kandalaksha), started building a road that will connect the construction site with the Oleniy Ruchey open pit mine, as well as the external motorway.
    Simultaneously, NWPC started excavation and levelling for the temporary administrative building and began construction of its foundation.

    Gorod (Gatchina, Leningrad region) delivered and began assembly of the modular administrative building.
